County of Stettler – Economic Skills and Development Dashboard Project

August 2025 to November 2026

Project Objectives

Design, develop, and implement the County of Stettler No.6 Economic and Skills Development Dashboard to support agricultural and small business growth within the County.
Create and add a business directory, a list of community providers and links to skills development opportunities on the County of Stettler No. 6 website.
Create a new Investment Attraction website for County of Stettler No.6, featuring a dashboard that shows economic development asset inventory.
Develop and conduct survey for agricultural producers and non-agricultural small businesses with a focus on defining the content to be added to the County of Stettler No. 6 website.
Conduct interviews with 5-10 businesses that have established/not established/planning to establish in County of Stettler No.6 in the last five years with a focus on defining the Investment Attraction website.

Accomplishments

This project is just in the initial stages...

The dashboard will connect users with essential resources, training, and expertise for business development, providing users with the tools needed to thrive in today’s challenging economic climate.
This project is critical for fostering economic growth, job creation, and long-term stability in the County's rural communities, while offering users the opportunity to enhance productivity, skills, and knowledge.
